　　波士頓學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)夏校為波士頓學(xué)院主辦的學(xué)分夏校。適應(yīng)對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)有強(qiáng)烈興趣的高中生，波士頓學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)系的教授和研究生的指導(dǎo)下，學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)和探索解決問(wèn)題的技巧。此項(xiàng)目總共有兩節(jié)課，分別是高級(jí)數(shù)學(xué)和線性代數(shù)。課堂之外還設(shè)立了數(shù)學(xué)研討班，著重于大家一起合作解決數(shù)學(xué)問(wèn)題。學(xué)生活動(dòng)豐富，有校園參觀、健身房和游泳池可以進(jìn)行體育活動(dòng)、晚上觀看電影。

　　Students in this program will participate in math courses that are focused on topics outside of what is typically covered in a high school setting but does not require a background in Calculus. Under the guidance and instruction of faculty from the Mathematics Department and supported by graduate students in the field, students will have the opportunity to learn and explore a variety of problem solving skills. Their classroom experience will be supplemented with a Math workshop with an emphasis on collaborative problem solving. Students will also have access to supported evening study sessions.

　　All Applicants must submit

　　A completed online application

　　A $25 application fee (payable by credit card when completing the application or check or money order payable to Boston College. We will not accept cash payments)

　　A copy of your high school transcript including grades from Fall 2016

　　Two letter of recommendations - one from a guidance counselor or principal and one from a high school teacher

　　PSAT, SAT, ACT or other equivalent test scores (unofficial scores are acceptable). If you are a rising junior or international student and have not yet taken these exams, this requirement can be waived. Please contact us if you have any questions.

　　BCE MATH EXPERIENCE:

　　One of the two required Letters of Recommendation must be from a Math teacher addressing your ablity and/or experience with writing proofs.
